My goal is to provide comprehensive, objective product reviews with a mechanical engineering perspective. Product reviews exist to provide consumers with the knowledge necessary to make the best purchase decision possible, saving time and money and making the buying process more efficient. Product reviews can help prevent the consumer worst nightmare: buying a product only to find out it’s not the right product for you.

The ratings are based on the comprehensive LizRating Review Scale, which is a thorough, objective assessment and critique of the product. The LizRating Review Scale includes the following criteria at minimum:

• Functions as designed
• Robustness
• Aesthetic appearance
• Number of possible improvements
• Pricing competitiveness
• Performance
• Overall brand rating
• Overall level of recommendation

For some product types, the performance rating may include sub-criteria, which define the performance in more detail as required.
